Workers and employers alike need to be aware of the rising costs and shifts hitting the workers’ comp market this year. As reported by Insurance Business Mag in their article “US workers’ comp market faces rising costs and regulatory shifts in 2026,” higher medical costs, reserve adequacy, and more all play into this.

“The US workers’ compensation insurance market is entering a pivotal period in 2026, shaped by rising medical costs, cumulative trauma litigation and concerns over reserve adequacy,” Insurance Business Mag said.
